There’s no doubt about it, Adelaide LOVES a Christmas pageant. Maybe it’s because we’re home to one of the best and largest Christmas pageants in the world? Or maybe it’s just because we REALLY know how to do Christmas?
Lots of the local council Christmas Pageants are back in 2025, so make it your mission to go along and support your local community as they parade down the main street in your suburb. Wave to the dancers from the local dance school as they twirl on by. Catch lollies from your local real estate agent as they thrown them out of their car. Line the streets of Adelaide and the ‘burbs and just get into the Christmas spirit – go on, no one likes a grinch!

2025 Santa's Wonderland tickets are available for purchase now! If Christmas had a home base in Adelaide, Santa’s Wonderland would be it and after four years in a row, our kids have basically grown up thinking this place is the North Pole. I swear if you lined up photos from each year, you could measure their height in candy canes. So yes, we’re back again in 2025… because at this point, it wouldn’t be December without it. This year is extra special because Santa’s Wonderland is celebrating its tenth season. A whole decade of rides, snow, sparkles and very excited children. The Jubilee Pavilion once again transforms into a huge glowing Christmas playground and somehow it still hits that warm fuzzy feeling as soon as you walk through the doors. Each session runs for three hours and almost everything inside is included once you are in. There are two sessions every day, morning and afternoon, which gives families a generous block of time to play. Rides, ice skating, giant inflatables, the ten-stop Activity Trail, stage shows, photo moments and roving characters all run non stop from the moment the snow starts falling. We are a sucker for a good family Christmas movie, you know the ones that you sit around year after year and watch with the fam. Apart from the classics, Home Alone, Elf, Die Hard (yes) and The Santa Claus (maybe not number 3), we are blessed with a steady stream of new releases each year. We have decided to review these like the troopers we are (because lets be honest a lot of them are trash..in the best possible way) and place them in your one stop shop for Christmas family fun. But because parents deserve some kid-free Christmas fun too, we are also whacking in the new breed of Christmas movie....the Netflix romantic-comedy Christmas trash. What a time to be alive!
