The Central Markets are always a hive of activity and are a great place to explore piles of scrumptious fresh food from a variety of cultures. There’s loads for kids to learn, mountains of foods to choose from and plenty of activities to enjoy. Some of the activities include… face painting, cooking demonstrations, small goods appreciation classes, live entertainment and more! There’s parking available in the multi-storey car park, plus along the nearby streets (if you’re lucky!) and the markets are in the middle of one of Adelaide’s best multi-cultural eating strips; Gouger Street.

My favourite place to eat at the Adelaide Central Markets is the Big Table. Mountains of fresh, delicious food, share tables, fast service, good prices. What more could you want?
Things to know:
– The Central Markets are right next to Chinatown and Gouger Street, both great places to eat and enjoy.
