GLOWING LINE UP FOR LANGHORNE CREEK’S NEW-LOOK WINE FEST

Langhorne Creek has launched a new-look program for its 2023 winter festival, ‘Cellar Treasures: 10 Days of Treasures’, including a huge line-up of indulgent, immersive and illuminating experiences for all ages.

With over 40 diverse events from more than 10 different wineries, this year’s wine festival will span over two weekends with some fun in between.The line-up includes live music in an airfield hangar, an all-ages light show in the town centre, vineyard walks with some of Australia’s best winemakers and, of course, the chance to taste the region’s most rare and museum wines over 10 days.
Traditionally, the annual Cellar Treasures festival has been an event for avid wine connoisseurs, but this year, organisers from Langhorne Creek Grape and Wine Inc (LCGW) have created a program which encourages anyone who enjoys food, wine, events and fun to get involved.

A snapshot of the events held between 11-20 August 2023, during Langhorne Creek’s 10 Days of Treasures, includes:

•  4 August: National Wine Centre launch, showcasing fantastic Langhorne Creek wines to the city, with live music and roaming canapes;
• 11-20 August: Cellar Treasures’ 10 Days of Treasures, diverse tasting experiences at cellar doors
• 14 August: Viti and Vino, immersive hands-on experience digging deeper into the region’s history, followed by exclusive lunch with leaders in viticulture and winemaking;
• 18-20 August: Light Up Langhorne Creek, free and family-friendly light display and wintery treats in Alfred Langhorne Park; and
• 20 August: Hangout at the Hangar, day of world-class wine, food, live music and kids’ activities.
