Christmas at the Mortlock

A magical Christmas awaits families at the beautiful Mortlock Chamber, where Adelaide’s largest indoor Christmas tree stands tall, reaching seven meters high and sparkling with festive decorations.

Visitors can soak up the Christmas spirit with a special display of treasured pieces from the National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant. This year’s winning mini float, “Bee Merry,” will also be on show, adding extra joy and wonder.

Families can enjoy activities like:

• Writing postcards to Father Christmas
• Making Christmas ornaments (16–20 December)
• Relaxing in the reading nook
• Listening to storytelling (16–20 December)
• Watching South Australian school choirs perform
• Hearing the harmonies of Young Adelaide Voices and adult choirs
• Exploring the Christmas Pageant displays
• Taking photos on the iconic thrones from John Martin’s Magic Cave
