Christmas in Nature ‘come and try’ sessions

Join us for a session of nature connection and Christmas cheer! This is your chance to ‘Come and Try’ our popular sessions for the last time in 2024! Come and play before signing up for Term 1 2025! Multiple session on Tues 10th and Wed 11th of Dec – see link for details!

This family friendly event by Play Naturally OT is delivered by Prue, an occupational therapist. You will be guided through sensory nature connection Christmas themed activities to help you connect with nature and each other, to calm your busy minds and have some fun! It is an opportunity to engage your senses – listening, touching, smelling, tasting and seeing as we allow ourselves to just ‘be’ in nature at this busy time of the year!

Nature connection supports the development of sensory awareness, physical skills, emotional regulation, connecting with others in a group, and environmental awareness – amongst other benefits. All of these can support our ability to do the things we need to do, want to do and have to do every day. The experience will be tailored to the needs of the group where possible.

In a world where people of all ages are increasingly disconnected from nature, a deliberate nature-based experience such as this can help us access the health and wellbeing benefits of nature for ourselves and for the planet!

Entry into Belair National Park is free with this ticket.
