Cosy craft sale brings comfort to South Aussies in need
If Autumn evokes images of knitted socks, warm cups of tea, and crafternoons with friends – you might just be an honorary member of Uniting Communities’ Cosy Club!
Cosy Club is a small monthly gathering held at U City, where people aged 65+ gather to knit, talk and make a difference.
With support from Uniting Communities, Cosy Club donates hand-crafted items for free to organisations helping people in need of comfort and care. The group members also put together pamper packs for newcomers moving into Uniting Communities’ Aged Care homes – Murray Mudge and Aldersgate.
You can support the Cosy Club and the heartwarming work they do by purchasing items at their upcoming fundraising sale. Expect everything from socks and scarfs, to baby clothes, blankets and beanies – all lovingly handcrafted for a wonderful cause.
All proceeds from the sale of their products are invested in purchasing craft supplies to make welcome packs and much-needed items for people doing it tough.
Please, note that event is cash only.
