Creative Pursuits Arts Festival Family Day

Creative Pursuits 2025 is a family-friendly community arts festival held at Macclesfield on weekend of April 12th & 13th

Come along to the family day at Davenport Sq. on Sunday 13th with free workshop activities just for kids including circus skills with Lolly Jar Circus, create your own cartoon characters, paint your pet portrait and more! Join celebrated mural artist Taylr Jay to help make a large colourful work of art. Enjoy a Lions BBQ lunch and let the kids create, skate and play.

At the Institute there is a free exhibition of mixed media artwork from local artists including two youth categories and many hands-on creative workshops for ages youth to adult offered by local talented artists which includes Leatherwork, First Nations Weaving, Hanji traditional Korean paper craft, Watercolour, Acrylic or Silk Painting, Felting, Sketching, Printmaking and even come n try Beginner acting or Gospel style A Cappella singing.
