Do you have a child who is passionate about making art and being creative? Tatachilla Lutheran College in McLaren Vale offers an outstanding visual arts program that helps students grow not only as artists but also as communicators, critical thinkers and collaborators.
Come and see what the college’s visual arts program can offer your child at Tatachilla’s inaugural SALA exhibition, ‘Echoes of Tarnanthi’, which is being launched on Thursday 29 August 2024 at 5:30pm. The exhibition features more than 300 pieces of student artwork that spans ceramics, textiles, painting, drawing and moving image. Each work has been inspired by the techniques used by First Nations artists such as Vincent Namatjira, Tiger Yaltangki and Nyangulya Katie Nalgood.
Students have drawn on the art-making process to make meaning of their own lived experiences and express their personal stories. The exhibition is being hosted in the college’s beautiful EcoSanctuary and is not to be missed.
