Illuminate returns to light up the Adelaide Central Market!

Keep an eye out for Mirror Me by Fresh Creative Entertainment, where interactive roving performers surprise and delight with playful movement, dance and spontaneous encounters throughout the Market. Catch them on Friday 3 July and Friday 17 July from 5:30pm.

Take a moment to relax on the stunning …please have a seat! installation by German art studio lichtbankobjekte by M+V. This glowing interactive artwork is the perfect place to rest your feet, snap a photo or simply soak up the Illuminate atmosphere while exploring Adelaide’s favourite food destination.

As an official Illuminate Adelaide Host for 2026, the Market will also be buzzing with incredible food, local produce and special offerings from a fantastic line-up of traders.

Looking for a grown-ups’ night out? Illuminate After Dark, presented with Smelly Cheese Co, offers an exclusive tasting experience featuring artisan cheeses, French caviar, oysters, Champagne and premium wines, hosted by Valérie Henbest.

Whether you’re visiting with the kids, meeting friends or planning a date night, the Adelaide Central Market is set to deliver a memorable mix of light, art and delicious food throughout Illuminate Adelaide.
