Illuminate returns to light up the Adelaide Central Market!

Illuminate returns to the iconic Adelaide Central Market from 3–18 July, turning the market into a vibrant mix of light, art and food.

Roaming performers from Mirror Me by Fresh Creative Entertainment will bring spontaneous movement and dance, while the playful installation …please have a seat! invites visitors to pause and relax.

Stallholders will be serving up incredible produce and dishes throughout the event, with the market also featuring as an official Illuminate Host for 2026. A highlight is Illuminate After Dark with Smelly Cheese Co, a curated tasting experience of premium cheeses, caviar, oysters, Champagne and wine hosted by Valérie Henbest.
