Lights at Mawson

Lights at Mawson is back in 2025, set to transform the Mawson Lakes main lake area into a glowing winter wonderland across three nights from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 July.

This free, family-friendly event invites visitors to wander lakeside and explore a captivating series of illuminated sculptures, interactive light installations, and live acoustic music, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for all ages.

New for 2025, a spectacular on-water installation will light up the lake itself – a must-see highlight of the event. Local cafes and restaurants will be open late, making it the perfect night out close to home.

Please note: The inflatable sculptures by artist Evelyn Roth are for admiring only – please don’t touch.
