Once Upon a Festival is an exciting literary festival which will be hosted at the Immanuel Campus at Novar Gardens on the 2nd – 3rd November 2023.
Our vision for Once Upon a Festival is to generate a lifelong love of literature by providing an affordable educational festival for young people in South Australia. Students and their families from South Australian Primary and Secondary schools from all sectors of education are invited to participate.
The Festival includes workshops and presentations by a number of Australian authors and illustrators that will appeal to students aged from 7-17 (Years 3-11).
These include: Amie Kaufman, Matt Stanton, Katrina Nannestad, Nova Weetman, Dr Sarah Pye and Will Kostakis, to name just a few.
Tickets are $8 per person for Talks and $15 per person for Workshops. Tickets are selling fast with some sessions having already sold out. Get in quick to secure places to participate in some amazing and engaging talks and workshops with some great Aussie authors and illustrators for children and young adults!
