Pups in the Park

Get ready for a paw-some day out as Australian Lions Hearing Dogs brings Pups in the Park to Pop-up Park on Morphett Street, Mount Barker on Saturday the 5th of April. This fun-filled event is a celebration of our four-legged friends and their incredible impact on people’s lives, with all proceeds supporting the vital work of training and providing Assistance Dogs to Australians in need.

Families, dog lovers, and supporters are invited to join us for a community event filled with entertainment, activities, and opportunities to learn more about the important work of Assistance Dogs. Whether you’re looking to meet these incredible dogs, enjoy a fun day out with family and friends, or explore ways to get involved, there’s something for everyone.
Meet and interact with trainee Assistance Dogs, enjoy a variety of games and activities designed for all ages, browse stalls featuring pet-friendly vendors and local organisations, and learn more about how you can support the work of Assistance Dogs. A selection of food trucks will also be on-site, offering a delicious range of options from local vendors.

The event also marks the kick-off to National Hearing Dog Day celebrations, making it the perfect opportunity to learn more about Australian Lions Hearing Dogs and their impact on communities across Australia. Come along and be part of a day that celebrates the incredible bond between people and dogs while supporting a great cause!
