Reconciliation in the West

Reconciliation in the West is an annual, community-wide event that promotes Reconciliation and fosters a unified society that values and recognizes Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and heritage as an integral part of Australia’s national identity. This event provides attendees with opportunities to share, learn, engage, and reflect on the importance of Reconciliation.

The event is proudly hosted by Tauondi Aboriginal College in Port Adelaide, in partnership with AnglicareSA, Life Without Barriers, and UnitingSA. In 2023, Reconciliation in the West celebrates Tauondi Aboriginal College’s 50th Anniversary.

The event features free entertainment suitable for all ages, stalls from local service providers and Aboriginal businesses, a complimentary BBQ, live music and much more.
