A quiet, sensory friendly morning for visitors of all ages, their families, friends and support workers.
Visitors with sensory or accessibility needs can enjoy a quieter, less crowded visit to the South Australian Museum out of hours. This is a chance to see all of the permanent galleries, and maybe discover something you’ve never noticed before.
Attendees are welcome to extend their visit beyond the end of this event, however please note that ticket holders will start arriving for the first sessions of Superluminal at 9.45am, so noise and crowds may increase from this time. Entry to Superluminal is not included with this event.

Our access programming is funded solely through donations and we’re grateful for every contribution no matter how big or small. Your contribution will help us to continue to present these programs into the future.
This is a ticketed event for people with sensory needs and their accompanying family, friends or support workers. Please purchase a ticket for all attendees when you book, as numbers are limited to ensure a quiet environment.
The Museum Shop and Cafe will not be open for this event but will open at 10:00am
