Tiny Summer – Summer Swing Dance

Swing Dance Adelaide, in partnership with the City of Adelaide, is thrilled to announce the next event in our Rotunda Series – the final of three sunny afternoons of dancing and live music in the beautiful Adelaide parklands!

This is a FREE event, giving you the perfect opportunity to come along with or without a partner and learn how to swing dance with some of Adelaide’s best teachers, live bands and DJs.

To make our final event in this series extra special, it will be part of the Adelaide Botanic Gardens’ Tiny Summer program. Our free solo jazz classes will be for children and families, so bring the kids and a picnic and dance the day away!

We are also excited to announce the following:
🥁 the aptly named Garden Animals playing live swing tunes all afternoon
🕺 two kid-friendly solo jazz classes taught by our friends at Swing Out Adelaide
🎧 additional sweet tunes from the fabulous DJ Kylie ‘Coops’ Cooper

DJ set and social dancing | 10:45 – 11:30am
Kids Solo Jazz Class #2 | 11:30am – 12:15pm
Social dancing | from 12:15pm
Band set #1 | 12:15 – 2pm
DJ set | 2 – 2:30pm
Band set #2 | 2:30 – 3:15pm

This event is subject to COVID-safe regulations and capacities in-line with recommendations by SA Health. Swing Dance Adelaide will monitor COVID-related updates and will communicate a covid-safe policy prior to the event.
