Santos Tour Down Under Adelaide

All the cycling action kicks off from 16 – 25 January with the Santos Tour Down Under returning with an action-packed line-up of cycling and custom racing routes that showcase the best of South Australia.

The festival will bring Australia’s most elite cyclists and para-cyclists – and all of their fans! – to our state. It will again showcase some of our most scenic backdrops to the nation and the world – from Barossa to Fleurieu Peninsula and Adelaide Hills.

Adelaide Kids Zone – Free activities to keep the kids busy over school holidays? Yes please! The Kids Zone in the City of Adelaide Tour Village will feature a giant TDU connect 4, a mural to be painted on, an interactive wall, rider cards, face painting, balloon twisting and more.

The City of Adelaide Tour Village is the home of the Santos Tour Down Under. This central city hub – found in Victoria Square/Tarntanyangga – hosts the Team Zone, Bike Expo and activities for families and cycling fans of all ages. Free entry, bars with daily knock-off hours, ample shade and music make it a perfect summer destination. Relax and catch up with friends, or check out the latest in cycling tech. It’s all here. A recovery zone complete with ice baths will soothe tired muscles and help you get back on the bike to continue exploring South Australia. Together with a daily entertainment program, festival fans and recreational cyclists can settle in and watch as stages are live steamed on the Santos Main Stage big screen each day.
