Zahra Foundation Australia’s Women on the Run is back and with your support, we’re hoping to raise $50,000 to support women and non-binary folk in their recovery from family and domestic violence.
Please join us for a 4km walk, run, or stroll from Grange Jetty to Henley Square (and back) on Sunday 19 March. Meet at 8am at Grange Jetty Reserve for a 9am race start down on the beach. There will be coffee, BBQ and live music.
This event is a chance for the community to come together in solidarity, and support women on their journey to financial independence and economic empowerment.
Funds raised will go towards programs and services that support women towards financial independence and economic empowerment by providing pathways to education, training and employment. This is an essential part of breaking the cycle of abuse through ensuring women who have experienced family and domestic violence can avoid homelessness and poverty.
If you can’t make it out on the day, please make a donation here Zahra Foundation Women on the run 2023 | Make a donation (grassrootz.com)
So – bring your friends, family and colleagues and let’s get fundraising!
