If you're like me, then you're probably fairly infatuated with coconut. And brownies. Some favourite easy snacks of ours involve sliced banana covered in coconut, and mixed dried fruit blended with a dash of milk and coconut oil, then rolled and covered in coconut. Mmmm. So yummy. If you want to actually make something that takes a few moments longer, requires a few more ingredients and is a WHOLE lot tastier and presentable then you should give these brownies from The Colourful Housewife a go. They're great for party food, lunch box treats or holiday baking fun. It's probably important to note that you will be left with half a packet of choc bits that are not required ing the recipe. Anyone having a kids party soon? Well these will be a hit for sure! There aren't any really clear instructions for these, but they look pretty simple to create. We originally found these on funcraftskids, but click HERE to head to the stylish board, which shows you what you need and how to put it all tu-tu-gether. Haha. We had a go at these at home with items we had in the pantry so we used: - Coconut mixed with a few drops of food colouring - Marshmallows - Meat skewers (cut to size at the end) - Pink cup cake holders - A small amount of water (used as an adhesive for the dyed coconut) For more yummy, inventive, creative and unique ideas head to https://funcraftskids.com/ or find them on Facebook. My efforts.... hmmm....
Mum to three. I'm a school teacher, sport lover and Milo addict. I don't particularly like blue tongue lizards even though I know they keep snakes away.
