HOLY SPLASH! Can you imagine my kids faces when they came outside to see this in the backyard!

We were SO LUCKY (and please believe me when I say that it’s not lost on me just how lucky we are to be sent things like this to review) to receive this E-P-I-C Triple Racing Thunder inflatable waterslide from littlekidsjumpingcastles.com.au who are the premier Australian distributor for the Happy Hop range of inflatable jumping castles and waterslides.

Arriving within a week from ordering, it took honestly no time at all to set this up. It’s really as simple as finding your patch of grass, laying the slide out flat, attaching the blower, connecting the water sprayers and turn it on. Took maybe 2 minutes for it to fully inflate and the kids were ready to go. Packing it up is just as easy…just turn it off and it’ll deflate to flat and then it’s just a matter of waiting for it to dry off, and folding it up like a tent, back into it’s bag and into the outside toybox for next time.

There’s a great range of Happy Hop inflatables available on the website. Different shapes, sizes, heights, inclusions and thrill levels. This triple racer is perfect for my two who are 9 and 3. Loads of fast splashy fun for the 9 year old without being too scary for the 3 year old (although I must admit, not much scares her!!)

You can also use this slide dry, which is great for winter and means that this won’t get packed away untouched for half a year. I’ll bet you my kids are out there in their wetsuits mid winter though. They have had so much fun for HOURS on this slide. All the kids in the street have! And birthday parties are sorted for the next few years! WINNER!

I love the ease at which you can set up and pack down but I am also really happy with the quality. This brand of inflatables are really strong and stable. There’s heavy duty 3 layered PVC on the high traffic climb and slide areas, the seams are all double to quadruple stitched and you can also rest easy knowing that there’s a 12 month manufacturers warranty.

If waterslide aren’t your thing, or you have a smaller area you can shop by “backyard size” from huge ones like ours right down to 3x2m jumping castles with mini slides that would be fabulous for younger kids.

If you’re looking for investment backyard play equipment that can be packed up and put away when you need the space these really are so much fun! Check out the Happy Hop range at

We received this product free of charge for the purpose of this review however as for all reviews from Kids in Adelaide the above is honest and in our own words

We thought this would be a great time to introduce you to Brave and Able ®. Not only are these two very cute and cuddly, they're also a great tool to help kids take charge of their brains and encourage slow, strong breathing that will help them calm down and take control of an anxious or stressful situation. The built in light in the tummies of Brave and Able ® slowly turns on and off to encourage those nice, slow, deep calming breaths that help kids get out of that fight, flight or freeze response and instead tell our body that it is safe and to rest and digest. Isn't that a great phrase "rest and digest" - I love that. You can read more about the science behind Brave and Able here I've got a 9 year old and a 3 year old and it's been fascinating (and a big relief) to watch how these work.
