Para Hills Community Club

Club/Pub, Family Friendly Eats, North | 0 comments

The Para Hills Community Club has a family friendly atmosphere along with great value and yummy meals, fast service and an indoor play room to entertain the kids.

Upon arriving, our little family was seated in the back corner by a window looking out over the Paddocks Wetland and local soccer oval which was a beautiful view. We were also near the play room which our 4 year old keenly spotted.

Kids meals are $8.90 which include a choice of kids meal (schnitzel, nuggets, fish, roast, pasta or stir fry) plus vege/salad bar plus a juice or soft drink.

Once Mr 4 had decided on chicken nuggets and chips (if we’re honest the decision was made before we even left the house) he was off into the play room. The play room is enclosed by a glass door and I would recommend you ask to be seated nearby when planning to visit. If you prefer to sit outside you can also watch the kids

The Club boasts a good range in a salad/vegetable buffet which can be accessed when purchasing any meal. We made a delicious meal by adding some peas, carrot and bread to nuggets and chips. There’s also a yummy dessert menu if you need a little bribe to get the kids to eat their dinner. Try the Nutella Overload Shake for $12 and easily shared by 2.

One of the most memorable aspects of the evening was that my husband and I actually got to enjoy our meals and have a chat whilst our boy happily played on the play equipment.

Who doesn’t love free ice cream???  By joining the Para Hills Community Club’s ‘Kids Crew’ for just $2 kids aged 10 and under receive free ice cream whenever they dine in the Club’s bistro.  The benefits don’t stop there though!  What about a free ice cream cake if you have your child’s birthday party at the Club? Or special Kids Crew access to chosen children’s events?
See staff and fill in the application form to join when you visit.

1. Ask to be sat near the play room
2. Utilise the buffet, including the delicious bread
3. Order yourself the ‘Nutella Overload Shake’. It’s amazing (and easily shared between 2).
4. Join the kids up for ‘Kids Crew’

All in all a great value and family friendly choice in the Northern suburbs of Adelaide.
