Every Saturday at Adelaide Festival Centre children and their families can enjoy live performances from just $12. Plus, there’s free Foundation Kids Corner workshops too – so get your hands dirty making fun arts and crafts! Perfect for both adults and kids! See a show, join a workshop, or both. This winter, it’s up to you!

Kids Corner Workshops

Every week check out the FREE workshops themed around that week’s performance. Click on an event below for details of that day’s workshop. Our Kids Corner Workshops are funded by the Adelaide Festival Centre Foundation. The Foundation raises funds for projects that inspire young people through the arts. For this reason workshops are free.

The Children’s University

The Children’s University gives the Stamp Of Approval to all Something On Saturday shows for the 7–10 year old age group (please warn us in advance if passports will require stamping).

  • Nature Play SA and National Parks SA have joined together to provide a range of fun & free events to be held at various National Parks around South Australia. Each month will feature a new park to discover, and the Park of the Month for November is.... Adelaide Shorebird and Dolphin Festival The Adelaide Dolphin Sanctuary is one of the gems of metropolitan Adelaide. Located only 20 minutes from Adelaide, this marine park is home to around 30 resident bottlenose dolphins, with another 400 transient dolphins that visit at various times. These wild dolphins come here to feed, play, socialise and nurse their calves. It’s one of the few places in the world where you can see wild dolphins living so close to a city – and it even gets the occasional visit from southern right whales and humpback whales.
