As we all know, teens and tweens are in that tough spot of wanting to grow up and be adults but also (sometimes secretly) wanting to embrace what is left of their childhood. It can be hard finding activities that they actually WANT to do and aren't too cool for, right?! When you're looking for activities to do with your tweens and teens, you probably want to make sure they tick three key boxes: They aren't too expensive (so they can bring a friend perhaps) Keep them mentally or physically active (so you can avoid the dreaded, "I'm bored. This sucks.") Something that is supervised, but where you could still allow them their "independence" while keeping an eye on them! So here are ten of the best for your kids to enjoy in Adelaide… Bounce, Marleston and Greenacres Drop them off for frozen yoghurt or an acai bowl Treeclimb Adelaide, Salisbury or Kuitpo Forest Go on a hike or send them mountain biking Woodhouse Adventure Park Escape Hunt Take them shopping Go see a game at Adelaide Oval Hanging out at Glenelg Take them for a round of two of Mini Golf Read on to find out why we love…
Toddlers are busy, toddlers are fun, when they throw a tantrum you’ll just want to run! Toddlers can be hard work, but can also be SO MUCH fun. Give them the right space and it’s so entertaining (and also very important) to just let them free and watch them learn, experience, climb, run, fall, work out and try again. Finding that safe space can be tricky though and a fully fenced playground, shallow spot for a splash on a hot day, a cafe with a great play corner or a venue that caters for toddler needs is like finding gold in them thar hills. Here’s our top 10 ways to keep your toddlers happy, entertained and having fun in Adelaide
Part of The Barossa Council's Big Project this 1km loop is located in the township of Angaston on the corner of Washington and Fife Street. The track features a range of rollers and berms, a wall ride, and timber bridge. TrailScapes are the clever folks behind this project and according to their website this track is "Very much like a little MTB playground in the middle of a town, this unique loop gets “sessioned”, laps after laps by riders of all ages and ability level. This is definitely a great trail to gain confidence on the bike." We can't wait to check this one out for ourselves and will update this post with more info soon. Check out Goolwa Pump Track which is another TrailScape project. Image credit TrailScapes Corner of Washington and Fife Street, Angaston [wpgmza id="138" cat="1" marker="700" zoom="16"]
