What a fabulous playground and reserve this one is. Talk about a stunning location, you will find this if you head east on The Parade far enough til you think you are about to drive into the front garden of the fancy houses in the foothills. The playground is set a little way back from the car park, which is great because you get to walk across a beautiful little stone footbridge and really take in the incredible scenery (plus a nice way for the kids to whip out the bikes or scooters like we did)
The playground is a ripper for the under 10s. Lots to climb on, plenty of of swings, slides, flying foxes and smaller toddler sized equipment for the little crew. You will also find toilets, drinking fountains, a huge lush grassed area, walking trails (or bike/scooter trails for us!), tennis courts, BBQ, seating and under cover areas (fabulous large rotunda!). The playground is also shaded too, apart from the large amount of natural shade throughout the reserve.
