Wildflower Park at Eden Playground

Hills, Nature Play, Play

A brand new $1million dollar playground has just opened in Two Wells!

Near the Eden Residential Estate, the new playground is another nature play themed play space and made from all natural materials.

The park itself is quite small but there’s lots of balancing logs and beams, climbing nets, a nest swing, and a great hill slide that little sliders will love.

There’s an undercover picnic area with BBQ, making this a great spot for a birthday party or picnic lunch.

Currently no toilets or shade over the playground.

  • Its Aberfoyle Park's turn for a new Nature themed playground! There’s been some controversy around the newly re-vamped Thalassa Park Playground in Aberfoyle Park.  Many residents to the area haven’t been impressed by the new nature themed playground, feeling that a lot has been missed in the $320,000 improvements.  Being locals we had to go and check it out for ourselves and here’s our findings. Its the ideal family park Compared to the old playground my two little park lovers, and I, think that the upgrade is simply fantastic and we all give it two thumbs up! The new and contemporary equipment includes a timber climbing structure with netting, a basket swing, a large enclosed embankment slide and a shaded big bird platform with a double slide and rope nest.  There’s wooden seating areas for the adults to watch their little ones play (if they let you sit down and relax that is!) All set out in a spacious setting. The lack of the flying fox and swing set was a slight disappointment, more so for the older kids, and the metal slides did worry me with our Adelaide heat. But all-in-all it really is a great and well-designed playground…

  • Plympton Oval playground that was upgraded in 2015. The playground is fairly small but has equipment that kids ranging from toddlers up to primary kids will enjoy. Smaller kids and toddlers will like the junior climbing structure, slide and swings while the older kids, especially climbers will love the tricky monkey bars, spinning bars and climbing nets. Or if your kids are up for the challenge, can they get to the top of the shade sale pole like Finn did? There are some big logs surrounding the equipment that are fun for balancing on. The playground is located within the oval grounds and although the playground on it's own isn't fully fenced, the oval as a whole is so you don't have to worry about kids escaping onto the road. It's a great place for a big run around, kick the footy or play some cricket in the nets. There are shade sails over the equipment, accessible pathways and picnic table and seating.
