Hold onto your unicorn horns because we just threw the best birthday bash at our kids’ all-time favourite café, Uniqorn Eats in Glenelg! It was a whirlwind of colour, laughter, and unicorn-approved treats that would make even the most seasoned party planner green with envy!
As always, from the moment we stepped into Uniqorn Eats, we knew we were in for a treat – literally! If you’ve never been, let me paint you a picture: imagine a place where every wall is a canvas splashed with the brightest colours imaginable, where giant blow-up sweets dangle from the ceiling like floating confectionery clouds. It’s a wonderland where every turn reveals a new delight, and the air is filled with the scent of sweet dreams waiting to come true. It really is a feast for the senses!
The party area was beautifully set up, featuring a table adorned with bright coloured plates and sprinkled with lollies for some extra fun. It added a playful touch and one the guests loved.
The party started off with a bang as each kid got to choose their flavour for their own Rainbow Shake. These towering concoctions of creamy goodness were topped with enough sprinkles to make Willy Wonka jealous plus the added goodness of whipped cream. Watching their eyes light up as they took their first sip was super cute!
With their sugar levels suitably spiked, it was time to dive into the rainbow-inspired menu. Rainbow Cheese Pizza, Uniqorn Cheeseburgers and Rainbow Stack Pancakes that were almost too pretty to eat (almost) – the kids were spoiled for choice and every bite was a burst of flavour and fun.
Once their bellies were full and their energy levels were soaring, it was game time. ‘Pin the horn on the Unicorn’ had the kids giggling like, well, unicorns, while pass the parcel was a hit, and the piñata had lollies flying everywhere like a magical shower of confetti. The excitement was palpable in the air, fuelled by both the games and, perhaps, the lingering effects of all that sugar!
Speaking of sugar, indulging in a party at Uniqorn Eats may leave you/ your kids with a delightful sugar rush and a feeling of total extravagance. But trust me when I say, it’s the kind of experience you only do once. Let kids be kids. Just brush their teeth and agree to feed them only organic veggies for the next 10 years! Haha.
While the pint-sized party-goers were busy chasing rainbows, the parents had a chance to unwind in the adjoining courtyard, sipping on cocktails that were as colourful as the décor. From Glitter Prosecco to Pink Espresso Martinis, whoever said parents can’t enjoy a kids’ party just hasn’t been to the right one!
We loved that we didn’t have to worry about taking a cake with us. It was a sweet surprise waiting for us at the end of the rainbow – or in this case, at Uniqorn Eats! The ice cream cheesecake was made in-store by the wonderful staff, whom we absolutely adore. It was topped with all the extras you could expect: lollipops, sour straps, and of course, rainbow ice cream. And let me tell you, it was delicious.
With 5 ‘activity’ parties to choose from, like painting parties or cookie decorating extravaganzas, there’s something to suit every little birthday person’s interests.
