This is a newly renovated (July 2018) park for all ages.

4 swings (2 little kids and 2 older kids), balancing, climbing nets and climbing wall, monkey bars, firemans pole and flying fox.
There’s also exercise equipment for big kids and adults.

Nature play elements including hard and loose surface paths and a water play area including a water gate, water pumps, channel, sand sieve and wooden bridge that will be great fun in summer!
There’s also lots of shade including 2 shade sails which we love as well as BBQs and undercover picnic area, basketball area and netball goal too.

A great park for a birthday party!

This is an off-leash park where dogs can exercise off-leash, except within 5 metres of a playground, at a wetland or when organised sport is being played.

Note: There are no toilets at this park but it’s just a short walk (10 mins or so) to Hendrie Street Reserve

  • Where: Alpine Road, Seacombe Heights Opening for business (kid business that is) from the start of November 2020, this fantastic new park is tucked away in the quiet back streets of Seacombe Heights. It really has it all this one, with a junior playground and flying fox, as well as a really fun ninja course for the older kids. Don't forget to pack the bikes, scooters and balls to use on the scooter/pump track and basketball court! We loved the space and the choice of equipment for the older kids to climb and jump around on. The climbing logs are massive, just like climbing on the stumps of a giant oak tree! The grass is still growing so we expect that will lushen up (definitely a word) over the next few months and will be cherry ripe for a picnic or to kick the footy. The ninja course is absolutely fantastic and a real challenge even for the fittest kids. No toilets here sadly and it isn't fenced, but it is a quiet backstreet so shouldn't cause too many issues. A little water fountain has been installed and some of the equipment is shaded, but there is a lot exposed…

  • Dampier Reserve at Findon is great a central neighbourhood playground and reserve for the kids to discover (don't forget to bring the racquets!).  You'll find the following facilities: Nature play Sheltered picnic tablesTwo tennis courtsPlay equipment Basketball ringPublic toilets Not a bad little back street playground which if you are a local, is a great little spot to tire the kids out or have a hit of tennis!

  • Where: Kooralla Grove, Kidman Park What a great little park this one is. With a fantastic range of play equipment, including some reasonably challenging climbing equipment to a playground with an enclosed twirly slide, this has something for most ages. It even has a heap of outdoor gym equipment but lets be honest, apart from sitting on the ski swingy one, nobody has ever used any of it....or is that just us? No toilets is the only let down here, but it has a BBQ, seating, a mix of toddler and traditional swings, several slides and is a really beautiful spot. There is no fencing but the river is about 100m away and it is in a nice quiet back street so you shouldn't have many issues.
