Caravan Parks sure have come a long way from when I was a kid.
Jumping pillows, pools, playgrounds right up to massive waterparks, putt putt and pump tracks. Some of these parks go over and above when it comes to family friendly making them a fantastic family holiday option all within a drive from home.
We’re lucky to have stayed at some of S.A’s best caravan parks and here’s our top 10.
Just over and hours drive from Adelaide and right in the heart of Victor Harbor this park has so many family friendly facilities you’ll have no problems keeping the kids busy while you’re here. If you are looking for accommodation on the Copper Coast that is clean, quiet and in a GREAT location, look no further than the Wallaroo Beachfront Tourist Park.
This is a fabulous caravan park, located only a two minute walk from the Wallaroo Jetty and is super close to cafes, playgrounds and shops. It is only small, so doesn’t have the noise, mess and hustle and bustle of other caravan parks – you’ll truly get to relax here. All of the caravan and tent sites are grassed too, so you don’t need to worry about getting dirt and gravel everywhere.
If you don’t have a tent or caravan, they have a huge range of cabins to suit all group sizes and budgets – some are on the beachfront with STUNNING views!
The Park has some great facilities including a jumping pillow, fish cleaning, camp kitchen and laundry.
Right in front of the Park is Office Beach – it has shade and looks out to the jetty so you can play on the beach with the kids or just relax while you watch the boats coming in and out.
