An OzAsia Festival favourite – don’t miss the Moon Lantern Trail for the opening weekend of OzAsia Festival with four days of free fun for the whole family!

Returning for its third year, Moon Lantern Trail is an exciting celebration of Mid-Autumn Festival traditions and stories from across Asia. Beautiful to explore by day and truly spectacular at night, wander around Tarntanya Wama/Pinky Flat on the Karrawirra Pari/River Torrens and discover over a dozen giant lanterns.

Enjoy the return of the popular Hong Kong Dragon lantern and other fan-favourites. Don’t miss the premiere of breathtaking new lanterns, including a spectacular new water lantern by South Australian artist, Jaydenlee Tong, to be unveiled as part of Adelaide Festival Centre’s 50th anniversary celebrations.

Wander at your own pace through the picturesque Tarntanya Wama/Pinky Flat and enjoy lively roving performances, puppetry, interactive workshops and live music. Follow along as the lanterns light up the trail, ushering you into an unforgettable OzAsia Festival experience!
