Looking for a magical, free Christmas event for the whole family? Head to Parkside for Singing Under the Stars: Parkside Carols & Markets at St Raphael’s School.
Enjoy a joyful evening of live Christmas music, dancing and sing-alongs, with songs from HI-5, The Wiggles and Wham! alongside classic carols everyone can sing together. The fabulous Libby Trainor returns as host, bringing plenty of fun and festive energy between performances.
There will be lots for children to enjoy, including:
- Soft play
- Face painting
- Magical snow play
- A visit from Santa and his elves
- Festive music and family sing-alongs
Parents and visitors can browse Christmas Markets featuring curated local craftspeople, handmade gifts, festive treats, homewares and more. Bring a picnic blanket and enjoy dinner from the food trucks, with an onsite bar also available.
The event will again feature the beautiful Giving and Wishing Tree. Families are invited to bring a wrapped gift to place under the tree for people doing it tough this Christmas. Children can also write a Christmas wish to hang on the tree.
Post your wish to Instagram using #StRaphsChristmasWish before or during the event, and returning host Libby Trainor may read selected wishes aloud on the night.
Proudly supported by a City of Unley grant, this is a free community event celebrating music, generosity and Christmas magic.
