The Maths Movement at St Raphael’s School
Maths is about to get active, hands-on and seriously fun at St Raphael’s School with the return of The Maths Movement in 2026.
Families are invited to take part in the free Amazing Maths Race on Thursday 11 June, where children and their grown-ups will tackle interactive challenges across six themed stations covering measurement, geometry, probability, patterns, data and problem-solving. Designed for toddlers through to Year 6 students, the event encourages families to discover how maths is used in everyday life through teamwork, movement and play.
The community event will also include maths-themed prizes and a take-home Maths in Action booklet packed with fun ways to continue learning at home.
No maths confidence required. This one is all about making numeracy engaging, practical and accessible for everyone.
