Find it at: Gawler Street, Seaview Downs Not a bad little backstreet playground for the locals to spend some time at, but some upgrades (Toilets!) would certainly be handy. Shade is great and there is plenty of grassed area to run around/fly a kite/lay on the grass and stare at the clouds. Couple of slides, swings and some climbing equipment which suits the 3 years + crowd. No BBQs but a little bit of seating for the adults was much nicer than sitting in the bark. Some people had their dogs off leashes on the grass when we were there so be wary if that is an issue for you.
Find it at: Ray Street, Findon Ray Street Reserve in Findon is a great little neighbourhood reserve and playground located at the rear of the Findon Shopping Centre and Findon Library. Grab yourself a coffee and a book, then take the kids to burn off some energy! Some of the features we noted included; Heaps of parking at the shopping centre car park Sheltered picnic table Play equipment (including toddler swing, slide, swing set and some climbing equipment) Seating Large open space Toilets at the shopping centre 2 BBQs We also think rolling on the grass hill would be a great way to tire the kids out!
Wife of a FIFO miner, but don't let that define her. Mum of two jetty jumping brats aged tween and teen (who live on fresh air, saltwater and attitude). Bare feet not heels. Hats not hair styles. Beaches not bars. Food over fashion. If you can't find her she's likely 'home' on the Yorke Peninsula.
