As the winner of our Best Babyccino in South Australia competition for 2023, we were keen to head to Megazone Noarlunga and give their café a whirl. And yep, the people who voted MegaZone Noarlunga as our winner definitely were not wrong! Not only do they serve up an epic babyccino, they also have an extensive menu full of delicious meals and snacks for anytime of day!
Megazone Noarlunga is a whole destination in itself with Laser Tag, Arcade Games and the Cheeky Monkey Indoor Play space all within the complex. There is something for everyone including GREAT FOOD from their café.
Let’s start with their babyccinos, since they are what brought us here. They come in either a Bluey or Baby Yoda teensy cup that would be cute enough on its own, however once they fill it with frothed milk, they put sprinkles AND chocolate on top. That’s right, a double whammy! Oh, but it’s not done yet. A Bluey biscuit lovingly gets added to the top and each saucer is adorned with a marshmallow coated in chocolate and sprinkles. This is ART, people! They are clearly popular, because almost every table in the cafe area had a babyccino cup on it – we can see why!
Onto the menu – it is so much better than you usually find at indoor play centres. This menu includes breakfast, pizzas, burgers, chef specials, salads, a kids menu and snacks, as well as sweet treats in the cabinet on the counter. It was a genuine dilemma what to choose but in the end Mr 4 went with Scrambled Eggs with Toast while us adults chose the Karrage Chicken Burger and Loaded Potato Skins. Everything was cooked to perfection and so tasty. We can also highly recommend the Sweet Potato Fries!
If you don’t want a full meal, feel free to choose something smaller like a croissant, arancini balls, banana bread, cauliflower popcorn or a milkshake that is sure to fill you up!
We’re gonna be honest here and say you don’t even need kids with you to visit and get a great meal at Megazone Noarlunga – it is right next door to the Red Cross Blood Donation Centre and the Savers Op-Shop, so why not treat yourself while you are out and about?!
Head to Megazone Noarlunga to grab an award winning Babyccino and a great feed while you are there!

Kids in Adelaide Best Babyccino 2024 - click here for all of the info and full list ‘It takes a village’. As parents, I'm sure you've heard the term thrown around the playground before. But, the Village Grounds Cafe adapts the phrase into their daily perfectly. With a welcoming vibe and philanthropic values, it's easy to see why locals have fallen in love with this delightful little cafe on Torrens Rd at Alberton. This is not just a cafe, it's a community and like seemingly everybody else visiting, this place made us feel like a million bucks! Here's why! Village Grounds do a very fancy babyccino of the month! It's still only $3 or you can simply order a regular babyccino for just $1. This is actually how we found them back in 2022, when they took out our prestigious South Australia’s Best Babyccino award. Here at Kids in Adelaide, we make it our annual mission to hunt down the BEST babyccino in South Australia. You could say we're pretty serious about warm frothy milk. These beautiful creative folks actually should have won again in 2023, by a landslide in fact, however stepped aside so as another SA small biz…
Find it at: Market Cres, Old Noarlunga As a southerner most of my life, who grew up around this spot and visited constantly and went to a zillion kids parties here, I never thought of it as much of a 'hidden gem' but it is kind of the definition of one! Tucked away in beautiful Old Noarlunga (a township that is bypassed by all the main roads), the Market Square is a magnificent setting for a playground, picnic, feeding the ducks by the Onkaparinga River or birthday party. With all the facilities you want, like a toilet, shade and seating, BBQs, nearby coffee shops (one across the road is a beauty) and serenity (not really a facility but its nice to have!), it is easy to see why this is such a favourite with the south. The playground is great for the younger kids and has several swings, a bunch of smaller equipment scattered around and different types of swings. The grassed area is huge and an absolute cracker for a game of cricket of footy with the family. Side note....Old Noarlunga do amazing Christmas Lights so make sure you include this on your travels too.

Find it: Cnr Rugby Terrace and Halsbury Avenue Kingswood Playgrounds near ovals are always a winner for us. One because they mean there's lots of space for running around, kicking a ball, flying a kite and two, there's likely to be toilets. Kingswood Oval Playground...
