We know at a first glance, it might not seem obvious to take kids on board, however BBQ Buoys are for all ages. They are super safe, all children under 12 are given a lifejacket and they they will be so mesmerised by the novelty of it all, along with the sights they will see that we bet they will LOVE IT as much as our kids did.

Here’s how it works: jump onto the BBQ Buoys website to let them know your group size (2 people, 6 people, 10 people or more) and the date and time you want to book. Then decide if you want to BYO your own food or pre-order food from BBQ Buoys menu of grazing platters, sweet tooth platters, grill meat packs or even breakfast packs! The boat is yours for 2 hours so you’ll have plenty of time to fill your bellies while you take in the sights of Adelaide cruising along the River Torrens.

If you a partying on the Buoys with kids, you can’t go past the Sweet Platter! It includes chocolates, lollies, fairy bread, fruits,
popcorn, biscuits, cupcakes and so much more. YUMMMM! Or for the best start to the day, book an morning cruise and have the Breakfast of Champs onboard!

You can’t BYO drinks, but BBQ Buoys have you covered with a great menu of wines, beers, cocktails, zero alcohol beverages plus soft drinks and juice for the kids. Each Buoy is equipped with eco-friendly plates, cutlery, cups, napkins, tongs, a Bluetooth speaker and most importantly and ice filled esky for your drinks.

It’s not a party without music, right? Every Buoy comes with its own Bluetooth speaker for you to connect to your phone and get the tunes cranking. Now it really is a party everyone will be talking about for ages!

Here’s some other bits that are good to know: no boat license is needed – any adult with a blood alcohol level under 0.05 can be the Captain! If you aren’t sure about the weather, you can book a flexi option so you have the option to reschedule up to 24 hours before your booking. If you don’t want to use the BBQ you can opt for a table setting instead which has plenty of room for your grazing food. Lastly, the base is at Pinky Flat, so you’ll need to head there at the start of your booking.
