The Tour Down Under is such an exciting event and there are lots of opportunities for families to watch, cheer and even participate. Even if you don’t get into TDU, a simple walk or drive through Victoria Square to see the huge inflatable bike at the main village is exciting for kids!


There are a number of family events on the calendar including the Westpac Mini Tour for Kids, Westpac Family Rides in Adelaide and Victor Harbor, Science Demonstrations, Tourrific Street Party in Prospect and Party in the Park. Find more info about these on our TDU Event Calendar here

Stage 2 from Stirling (you can check out Stirling Steamroller Playground while you’re waiting for the peloton
Stage 3 watch the start from Unley or Stage 4 watch them take off from Norwood
Stage 5 in Victor Harbor. Check out the new GT Fischer Playground while you’re waiting and/or take part in the Westpac Family Ride at 12:30pm
