School Holidays UNPLUGGED @ Woodhouse Adventure Park
Woodhouse Adventure Park’s UNPLUGGED ‘kids only’ Drop & Go Day Camps offer thoughtfully programmed adventures specifically designed with age-appropriate activities guaranteed to keep primary school kids aged 5 to 12 scree-free, active and entertained for the whole day… just 10 minutes up the South Eastern freeway on a magnificent 54-hectare natural wonderland at Piccadilly in the Adelaide Hills!
The autumn UNPLUGGED program runs weekdays 15 April to 26 April (excluding ANZAC Day) with each day featuring a different creative theme so you can book your kids in for just one day or every day knowing there is always something different to keep them excited and engaged.
The kids will be enjoying outdoor laser skirmish and ‘wheelies’ (think mountain scooters, mountain boards and billy carts!). They’ll journey through time for Prehistoric Playground, Medieval Mayhem and 1980s Retro Rewind. There will be plenty of sporting fun at the Woodhouse Olympics, with loads to learn on the Reptile Rendezvous day. Days of sensory discovery (Come to Your Senses) and airborne adventures (Sky High) round out the program.
There really is something for every kind of kid … from nature lovers and arty types through to sports fans and adrenaline seekers! Plus every day includes time on Challenge Hill obstacle course and a private Tube Slide session (weather permitting).
JUST $75 PER DAY (Scout Members save 20%) covers programmed activities and full facilitation (1:9 staff to child ratio) from 9am (drop off between 8:30am and 8:50am) to 5pm.

The perfect activity for kids of all ages! There’s nothing quite like the taste of freshly picked strawberries and Beerenberg have got the best strawberries on earth. Juicy, ripe, and packed with sweetness and flavour, these strawberries are nothing like any you’ve tasted before.
Beerenberg’s Strawberry Patch is open almost every day from November to April each year, but sometimes they have to close the strawberry patch for a few days. Always check whether our patch is open by visiting our website the same day before visiting.
After you’ve picked your strawberries, why not visit the Beerenberg Farm Café where you enjoy a selection of family favourites featuring fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced produce.
When you’re done with lunch indulge yourself at their delightful ice creamery, The Dairy for the perfect summer treat. They have a number of delightful flavours to choose from, and their ice cream and gelati is made with freshly churned local milk and the highest quality fruit, chocolate, and other delicious ingredients. Choose their Strawberry which is packed with their very own juicy strawberries. Or go wild and delve into one of their yummy Berry Choc Pots, fresh Beerenberg Strawberries drenched in melted chocolate – this mouth-watering treat is only available on Saturdays from midday until sold out.
Before you leave, make sure you visit their Farm Shop – the perfect place to stock up on your favourite Beerenberg products. Bioactive Terrariums for Kids
Helen’s Mini Worlds is running a few kids terrarium-making workshops this school holidays. In this one-hour workshop, you will design and create a tiny, living, bioactive terrarium complete with a figurine of your choice. Along the way, Helen, who has a science degree and a passion for nature, will teach you about the science behind terrariums and why we call them tiny, bioactive ecosystems!
You will not only take home your very own bioactive terrarium world, but also all the information you need to care for it and a wealth of new knowledge about the natural world.
