The Glenelg restaurant is stunning with a balcony overlooking Moseley Square and their brand new Rundle Place restaurant is perfect for lunch or dinner before or after an activity in the city. Plus, you can also find Doughballs in McLaren Vale at Paxton Wines on the weekends and popping up all over Adelaide at events!

NEW DOUGHBALLS AT FORT LARGS EATERY NOW OPEN

One, two, three times the happiness! Doughballs at Fort Largs Eatery is now open and it’s brilliant! Located rights on the esplanade at Taparoo, this place is a vibe! There is often live music, and its a great community feel. There are other casual eateries in the complex, such as the fabulous Caro Club, and you are going to love this huge bright airy space. DoughBalls is a parts of the new ‘Fort Eatery’ where the old Police Barracks have been empty since 2012.

Expect a smaller version of their well known restaurant menus, with delicious Wood-Fired Pizzas with some classic flavours like The Margherita & Pepperoni, but they have a fantastic chef who will be bringing some exclusive seasonal specials that will change frequently. They will also be offering our delicious Antipastos, DoughBalls Desserts and bringing an amazing children’s menu. So easy. So quick. So delicious!

This is DoughBalls like you’ve never seen it before. Check it out ASAP!

Let’s talk about the other DoughBalls Venues……

I honestly can’t remember a time when I have been more impressed with a kids menu. Passionate about pizza, fresh SA produce and delivering a quality value offering and experience to families, we couldn’t rave more about our meals with the kids at Doughballs, Doughballs serves lunch, dinner and takeaway! You can even just stop in for coffee and wait for it, they do *cocktails* too!

Read on to find out about their fantastic kids menu, which is available at Glenelg and Rundle Place. There’s a focus on healthy alternatives and providing some great options for the older children, as well as introducing some fantastic fresh options. Keep reading to find out more!

Firstly, what is a DoughBall anyway? Well, it’s a little warm ball of heaven to be honest. Served up plain with butters and pesto, or dressed with savoury or sweet toppings. Importantly kids will LOVE them.

If you are dining at Glenelg, you’ll find Doughballs set smack bang in the heart of the square. In winter stay toasty warm upstairs on the balcony, which is heated and enclosed. This is also a prime position in summer once the blinds are opened, along with the outdoor seating. The views set the perfect backdrop, although I must admit the kids were torn and drawn to the bright and colourful ‘beach hut style’ booths in restaurant. Doughballs also has downstairs alfresco seating, (complete with heater and blankets, or umbrellas for the sunnier months) a great option if you have strollers or kids that like some time on their feet when you are out.

The newest DoughBalls venue is in the city in Rundle Place – it’s the perfect spot to dine before or after some shopping, seeing a show or any other activity in the CBD. Kid friendly dining can be hard to come by in the city, so we are thrilled this restaurant has opened. It has the same killer food, kids and drinks menu as the Glenelg restaurant.

Like many parents, owners Catriona and Lincoln felt they could rarely find a meal out that properly catered for the family market and let me tell you, they certainly have nailed a casual dining experience that has some amazing offerings for kids all at a really affordable price. For example; their kids three-course deal is just $14.90 which includes a pop top drink, a starter, main & dessert. The menu choices are great, including a Chicken & Sweetcorn Pizza, Strawberry Jelly Pot and a Fresh Fruit Salad option, plus of course, the old favourites of Unicorn DoughBalls and several different kinds of pizza, including their delicious Ham & Pineapple Pizza.

They now also offer children’s items a la carte for those that don’t want to eat the full 3 courses AND they have added some more delicious healthy items.

Beyond the awesome kids menu (lunch and dinner) we enjoyed fabulous pizzas for the adults and must have eaten our weight in ALL of the doughballs. My favourite was the signature dessert with vanilla, salted caramel and nutella, but I also loved the warm doughballs with a pesto dipping bowl starter. See, we really did eat ALL the balls.

The dessert menu is extensive and lavish and there is a notable quality beer and wine offering too. Be sure to give one of their famous cocktails a try!

You can visit for lunch or dinner, seven days a week (book here), and they have an extensive cocktail menu for just $15 – $16. Of course, you can also do takeaway too and we are loving the quirky messages they write inside the pizza boxes!

Order on a Wednesday for their $10 Pizza and Snacks Menu plus a Cocktail of the Week!

For something completely different you can even hire the venue for a private function. Talk about a sweet location.

Speaking of locations, if you are visiting McLaren Vale on the weekend, you’re going to want to visit Doughballs at Paxton Wines. Check out their socials or websites for details of opening times or when there will be live music.

Grab a crew and book this in, you won’t be disappointed. View the current menu here.
