Join a magical Christmas evening at Kingswood Oval with Flinders University on Saturday 9 December from 5pm to 9pm!

The festivities kick off with kid’s activities, craft stalls and roving entertainers and a Christmas Market. Let the little ones marvel at the bubble man, get their faces painted, join the silent disco or learn a circus skill.

Bring a rug or chairs and enjoy a BYO picnic or purchase dinner from various food vans. City of Mitcham’s Libraries team will share Christmas stories from the Storytime tent. There will be a chill-out zone for anyone seeking a quiet space.

At 7pm, the stage comes alive with dazzling performances by talented local schools including St Joseph’s School, Kingswood, St Bernadette’s Primary School, Mitcham Girls High, Mercedes College, and St Therese Primary School, featuring dance, song and a spectacular percussion crew. Be captivated by the Nativity Scene enactment that truly captures the spirit of the season.

Grab your program for the night’s events, or sing along to your favourite carols using the words available on our website. To add a warm glow to the night, candles will be available for donation, supporting the Mitcham Churches Schools Ministry Group and their vital programs in local schools.

Performances will be shown on a large LED screen, ensuring wherever you are seated on the oval you will be able to enjoy the show.
