Clean up Australia Day

Clean Up Australia Day is always the first Sunday in March – so in 2024, the official Clean Up Australia Day will be Sunday 3 March. But the great news is you can organise a Clean Up for any day of the year!

Crew from McDonald’s Felixstow, Trinity Gardens and Rundle Mall East are removing litter and cleaning up the local community on Thursday 29 February, Wednesday 28 February and Friday 1 March respectively, in support of Clean Up Australia Day.

McDonald’s Australia has been a Founding Partner of Clean Up Australia Day since 1989, the country’s largest community based environmental event. During this time, over 136,000 employees from Macca’s have participated in Clean Up Australia Day events.

This year, over 4,000 employees from over 400 McDonald’s restaurants nationwide have committed to cleaning up their local area, including volunteers from McDonald’s Felixstow, Rundle Mall East and Trinity Gardens.
