Clean Up Australia Day – Sunday, March 2, 2024

Clean Up Australia Day celebrates its 35th anniversary this year, inviting Australians to join the largest national environmental action event! On Sunday, March 2, local communities across the country will unite to clean up and help conserve the environment.

Since its founding in 1990 by Ian Kiernan AO, Clean Up Australia has inspired over 22 million volunteers to take action. In 2024, plastics still make up 81% of surveyed litter, highlighting the ongoing need for community involvement.
