Dancing Monsters Community Parade

Bored of being human? Come and be something else in a wild parade! This annual parade is open to all community, and expresses creative connection with the non-human world: places, animals, trees, or just something random from your imagination!

No need to overthink it – just mask your face and/or adorn yourself for the parade.

Musicians and spectators are also welcome.

We will parade along the Yerta Bulti Port Adelaide River, celebrating the beautiful river and all it’s inhabitants. Come as you are, as a musician, or as a monster that protects important places and communities.

The Parade leaves at 7.30. Pre-parade show includes community dress-up, rhythm rehearsal and Welcome to Country ceremony led by Aunty Angelena.
