Find it at: Gulf Parade, Maslin Beach

Located on the cliff face offering a spectacular 180-degree sea-view, this one is one of the most scenic playgrounds around. The reserve’s large, grassed lawn area is perfect for family activities and from the cliff point you can take pleasure in watching the sun set over one of Adelaide’s prettiest beaches, or study the many rock layers in the ancient cliff-face.

Barbecues, shelters, public toilets and a great big area for playing games are just some of the wonderful benefits this reserve has to offer for a relaxing day out!

For those wishing to get some sand between their toes, a boardwalk from the reserve also provides easy access onto the beach below.

  • Agatha's Food Store has been a part of the Port Noarlunga cafe community for as long as we can remember - we remember going there as kids and now we are taking our own kids there for their delicious, family friendly drinks and food menu! You'll find Agatha's on the corner in Port Noarlunga, opposite the pub - just a short walk to the Port Noarlunga Beach and Jetty and only a stone's throw from the Jubilee Playground just over the bridge. It's right on the doorstep of the Onkaparinga River mouth, so is perfect for breakfast, lunch or a coffee and treat while you are having a day trip down south. Enough about the location - onto the food! The menu is simply HUGE, with tons of options for both breakfast, lunch and drinks. There is also a delectable range of macarons, cakes, slices, biscuits and more to go with your coffee, or to takeaway for later. We are big fans of the kids menu. There are options for kids who like to keep it simple and also options for kids who are a bit more adventurous. On our most recent visit, our kids went for the waffles with…

  • Find it at: Saltfleet Street, Port Noarlunga South Jubilee Playground is one of the biggest and best playgrounds in the Adelaide area. It's an oldie but a goodie and most of the awesome play equipment that forms a castle is made out of wood which makes it even cooler! With HEAPS of things to keep kids from toddler to high school amused and has different sections for different abilities, it is easy to see why this is a local favourite. We Love: The huge wooden castle and surrounds that provides heaps of places for kids to run, hide and have fun, Smaller kids "Tot Lot" section fenced off, Musical bells, Swings including a cool adult/child seated swing (see pic above), Climbing frames including rock climbing wall and modern climbing frames, Ship, rocket, fire pole, lighthouse and other cool structures, Tunnels, balance boards and numerous slides, Wheelchair accessible (although some areas have bark chips), New modern section of playground includes water play and a giant giraffe! BBQs, Toilets 250m away including disabled access, Lots of green space available for ball games, picnics, flying kites etc, Fencing around a lot of the equipment, Heaps of seating, benches and tables - some with shelter.
