You will find Harvest The Fleurieu just before you hit Mount Compass, just under an hour out of Adelaide. It’s really all in the name – at Harvest The Fleurieu you will find delicious fresh produce from all over the Fleurieu, as well as being able to pick your own delicious strawberries from around October to May AND pick your own Tayberries for a very limited 5 week season in late November.
It makes the perfect pitstop if you are driving to or from Victor Harbor or you could just head there for no other reason than to grab a coffee & something to eat or have some fun strawberry picking. Coffee, I hear you say? Yep, that’s right, Harvest The Fleurieu has a great café onsite with everything from coffee, cake, light meals & ice cream made from their own fruit. It is all delicious – they also have a great gluten free range.
While you are there be sure to wander around the Market Hall & pick up some produce from all over the Fleurieu Peninsula. You’ll find jams, chutney, nuts, olive oil & even candles or beauty products. Harvest The Fleurieu are true supporters of Fleurieu businesses so it is a great place for a one stop shop to stock up on local delicacies.
They haven’t forgotten about the kids either! There is a great little outdoor play area to keep the little ones amused & they will LOVE being able to pick their own strawberries if you are there at the right time of year. Harvest The Fleurieu are also introducing a Kids Party Package soon, which sounds BERRY FUN!
