Construction of the upgrades at Jack Watkins Reserve has now begun and we’re expecting all works to be completed by December 2025. Council have announced this will include the first bitumised pump track within the City of PAE.

This looks to be a fantastic facility in the making with plenty of fabulous playground equipment, sporting facilities, toilets and seating plus much more. Check out the interactive map on the City of PAE site for more, and to follow all the progress during 2025. Follow all the updates here

  • You won't ever regret taking the beautiful short stroll in to the centre of Adelaide's Botanic Garden to Evergreen Deli with your kids, where families can experience the magic of nature and exceptional café food (inspired by the gardens) combined. You'll quickly forget that you are in the heart of Adelaide City, and life will slow down for a little while. Nestled amidst the lush greenery and vivid backdrop of the Gardens, it's the perfect spot to enjoy a delightful meal or a simple coffee break! Families will appreciate the inviting, fresh air atmosphere that makes it easy to relax and savor their time together while surrounded by all things good. • Ever wanted to bite the head off of a T-Rex? Or maybe sip on a delicious chocolate milkshake while under the watchful gaze of a suspended bottle nose dolphin skeleton? • As you might have read in My Baby Essentials post, a really great pram was high up on my list of things to make sure I found before baby #2 arrived in July this year. After lots of asking around and pram stalking at the shops I finally decided on the Baby Jogger City Mini GT with the City Go Capsule and have not looked back. I asked the KiA community on Facebook for some advice on which pram to choose and by far the most popular reply was Baby Jogger, so I owe you all a thank you for the tip! If you've ever had half an interest in prams, you'll already know about Baby Jogger. They are EVERYWHERE! And there is a good reason for that. The prams are GOOD......they're really, really GOOD! Without boring you with the details, I just want to get straight to the point and tell you why. Nothing steers quite like a Baby Jogger pram - You can honestly push and steer with one finger it's that smooth. My City Mini GT has all terrain, foam filled (no punctures) wheels so it's great for walking over bumpy paths, grass, gravel and dirt paths.…
