This place is definitely one of the hidden gems of the South!

A gardening store might seem like a weird place to take the kids, but this is no ordinary garden centre. For a gold coin donation, you can go on an animal hunt through the jungle – grab a clipboard by the shop entrance to tick off all of the life size animals as you find them hidden around this 30 year old garden “jungle”

You’ll need to look up, down and all around! This is a fantastic activity, especially for toddlers and younger kids. We stayed about 35-40 minutes as we were rushed for time, but you could easily spend longer. The only thing missing is a coffee van!

In the centre of the jungle is this super cool climbing net – our older boys especially loved this and tried to get faster with each turn. Adults can even have a go if you’re game! (Just check the sign next to the net for maximum numbers.)

If you aren’t quite done with your plant shopping and want to keep the kids close by, there is also a Fairy Garden inside the nursery itself. Plant shopping, a jungle, animals, climbing net and fairies – there really is something for the whole family here!
