The new skate area caters for all ‘humans on wheels’ and those that like to be active. Key features of the park include a skate area with bowl, flow zone and street area, dirt BMX track with multiple jumps and berm and a pump track.
A number of unique skate features and blends will offer users an exciting new rider experience, in particular, the hips, transfers and extensions around the flow zone which will allow users the opportunity to create individual lines and perform creative manoeuvres. The wide range of new and classic skate features appealing to a range of skill levels and styles means there’s something for everyone at this skate park.
The Playground
The playground has swings, a flying fox, slides, inground trampoline and plenty of climbing ropes and poles. There’s also an adventure course which is designed with an A-frame climb, log jumps, horizontal net crawl, timber berm run, and totem poles.
There are toilets onsite, barbecues, shelters and a beautiful large lawn for people to enjoy ball games or a picnic. Add in a basketball court, table tennis table……are we ticking all your playground boxes yet?
We’ve also been told that the accessible toilet including adult change facilities and hoist will be available in March 2024.
