Coming Soon: Bluey Cricket Coins
Calling all Bluey fans and little collectors! The Royal Australian Mint has released a brand-new coin celebrating one of our favourite Bluey episodes, Cricket.
If you’ve seen the episode, you’ll know Rusty is a seriously impressive little cricketer. After overcoming his fear of fast bowling with a little help from Dad, he becomes a batting superstar. But it’s not just his cricket skills that make him special. When his little sister gets a chance to shine, Rusty makes sure she gets the catch, showing some very important lessons about kindness, encouragement and good sportsmanship.
The new coins feature Rusty batting a ball while Bluey cheers him on from the field. Even though Bluey is on the opposing team, she can’t help but celebrate Rusty’s amazing hit. Very Bluey!
And there’s an extra special option for collectors. The silver proof coin comes in a delightful tin shaped like a cricket ball, making it a pretty great keepsake for any Bluey fan.
A classic Aussie game, one of our favourite Bluey episodes and a very cute new coin for collectors big and small.
