No trip to Victor Harbor is complete without a delicious cup of coffee from The Causeway Cafe.

Also look out for their pop-up events. When we were there they were advertising a Paint & Sip which sounded FUN!

With a huge carpark conveniently located next door, parking is a breeze, making it easy for families to enjoy a delicious meal without any hassle. For those looking to add a bit of fun to their visit, The Causeway Cafe is right next to Dunes Mini Golf and a fabulous Games Arcade, offering entertainment for kids of all ages. You can also book local tours and/or hire a bike here. And if you happen to visit during school holidays, you’re in for an extra treat. At the beginning of the Causeway, Victor Harbor hosts a fun fair with show rides, sideshow games, and even camel and pony rides along the beach.

Victor Harbor is an iconic seaside town less than an hour out of Adelaide. It is situated right on the Myponga Reservoir and it is one of our favourite spots to hang out with the family while enjoying a great meal. Smiling Samoyed Brewery is open 7 days a week and have their pizza oven firing everyday. So there's no need to wait until a weekend, head down there anytime for a great meal. You'll be greeted by the stars of the show - Kent and Hoppy, their two GORGEOUS white samoyed dogs who lap up the attention of all the guests. We love a family friendly winery and they don't come much better than Vine Shed, in McLaren Vale on the wonderful Fleurieu Peninsula. If you haven't been here yet, clear the diary and book in for lunch, wine tasting or some live music with the whole family at this stunner of a cellar door! The Vine Shed is so much more than a cellar door however - it is a full blown family friendly restaurant, wedding venue and live music venue with something for everyone. The venue itself is a mix of modern and rustic - it's a huge, stunning building set on Conte Estate, with a vast dining space inside, along with a Mezzanine. Outside you'll find a bridge over a small rocky waterfall, leading out to a large lawn area for kids to run around, complete with a cubby, swings and outdoor games - heaven! Oh and did we mention there are also a few ponds with fish, ducks and elusive frogs (we couldn't see them, but we could certainly hear them!).
