If your toddler loves a train, this suburban playground in Daw Park is going to be right up their alley. This fully fenced space, shaded by the mature trees, is lacking in a heap of equipment but makes up for it with great imagination play with the train and a really serene setting.
Find it at: Weemala Street, Flinders Park Montgomery Reserve stretches from Kanbara Street to Weemala Street in Flinders Park along the River Torrens Linear Park and features a playground, grassed areas and a shared bicycle and pedestrian path. Find it at: Park Cres, Brighton We do love ourselves a fully fenced playground and this one at Brighton is little, but covered by lots of natural shade and has equipment suited for the under 5s. It's located in a quiet area and is surrounded by a nice size grass area where you can have more of a run around, kick a ball or have a picnic.
Find it at: Price Ave, Clapham A small but well-maintained fully fenced and dog-friendly park.Play equipment includes monkey bars, a slide, a seesaw, a climbing wall and two swings. There’s also enough grassed area for a game of cricket, football, soccer, frisbee or whatever activity takes your fancy. There are no toilets or BBQs but it does have two tables with benches if you’d like to bring your own snacks. The reserve is popular with kookaburras, and if you’re lucky you can even spot a koala from time to time.
