Davenport Square is the village green of Macclesfield with picnic, BBQ and toilet facilities.
It’s a lovely big open grassy space where you can quite happily watch one child skating while another one plays on the play equipment, has a run around or kicks a ball.
Play equipment is best suited to toddlers and smaller kids and includes swings, climbing walls and ropes, spinner and slide.

No toilets or shade Thanks to Amy for this playground review 36 Seavington Road, Elizabeth Park[wpgmza id="138" cat="1" marker="559" zoom="16"]
Toddlers are busy, toddlers are fun, when they throw a tantrum you’ll just want to run! Toddlers can be hard work, but can also be SO MUCH fun. Give them the right space and it’s so entertaining (and also very important) to just let them free and watch them learn, experience, climb, run, fall, work out and try again. Finding that safe space can be tricky though and a fully fenced playground, shallow spot for a splash on a hot day, a cafe with a great play corner or a venue that caters for toddler needs is like finding gold in them thar hills. Here’s our top 10 ways to keep your toddlers happy, entertained and having fun in Adelaide
Green Monkeys is a volunteer run Community Play Café where, for a gold coin donation, you can bring your pre-school age kids along to play on their awesome 2 storey, indoor, netted playground. Open Mondays and Thursdays during the school term from 9:30am - 11:30am, the Green Monkeys program operates similarly to a playgroup. They love to support parents in our community by making a safe place to hang out and drink some delicious coffee while your kids play. Designed to suit children under the age of 6, the playground features two slides, a tunnel, a helicopter cockpit, spinners, punching bags, a swing and more. A toddler play mat and toys are also available for younger kids. Parents do need to bring socks for their children to utilise the play equipment, however they have some available for purchase if needed. Barista made coffee and light snacks are also available for purchase in the cafe at very reasonable prices.
