A new indoor place to play has just opened in Adelaide.

The Little Village Collective has arrived to build thoughtful, community-focused play villages for families.

Their first location (hopefully there will be more to come) is The Little Southern Village, an indoor play café located in O’Halloran Hill. A beautifully designed, village-inspired play space where little imaginations can run wild while parents actually get a moment to breathe. Created for children aged 0–7 it features 11 thoughtfully curated play zones inspired by real-life community settings.

Guided by play-based pedagogy, the space encourages child-led, open-ended role play where kids can explore freely, build confidence and connect with others in a natural, pressure-free environment. Think play areas like Funnings Construction Zone, Boujee Baby Corner, The Dress Up Studio, Hilltop Animal Rescue, The Hospital, The Market and the Post Office. This space is less about ball pits and slides and more about calm play and imagination.

And Yes! There’s an onsite cafe serving up simple, kid friendly food. Simple sandwiches and toasties, bagels, waffles, picky plates, yoghurt bowls and a selection of cakes and cookies. Of course there’s coffee, but we also love the menu includes fresh smoothies, healthy sodas and juice.

Entry prices:
Under 6 months $5 | 6-12 months $10 | 1-7 years $16 | Adult included (free) | Extra Adult $1
