A fully fenced, shaded playground in the heart of Paralowie which is perfect for toddlers. With updated play equipment aimed firmly at the under 5s (not to mention the fence keeping them locked in nice and tight), you will also find a huge grassed area which is ideal for kites, balls or whatever activity floats your boat.

Featuring a slide, swings and some small climbing structures, the toddles will also enjoy an array of small equipment designed just for them.

  • Find it at: Barina Ave, Para Vista This playground was updated in 2015 and it a really cool little hidden playground gem we were told about by one of our Facebook friends. (Thanks Chris!) This is a nice big open space with room to run around, walking paths, shaded and fully fenced playground, tables and bench seats and even a dirt BMX track.Playground equipment includes toddler and nest swings but most of the equipment is better suited to primary/older kids including see saw, spinners a cool slide that you have to climb a rope net to access and a flying fox! There's also some work out equipment outside of the fenced area including a jumping machine. Older kids will love it, but watch out for little ones fingers.   • Find it at: Corner of Albert and Hardy Streets, Goodwood Souter Park Goodwood is a lovely little playground and park area on the corner of Albert and Hardy Streets in Goodwood. The fully enclosed playground equipment is ideal for younger families from crawlers to 5years, while the wide open play areas just outside the fenced area is great for any age to run and play. Inside the fenced area is a 'littlies' playground with slide, 'lookout', ramps, steps, and sandpit area. There is another slightly larger slide above the huge sandpit area, 2 baby swings, see saw, and larger sandpit play equipment best suited for 3-7yrs. Virtually all of the equipment is shaded and there is a kids sized bench seat and table within the fenced area. Outside the fenced area are toilets, soccer goals, 2 swings, numerous shaded and unshaded benches and tables and 3 bbqs. It can be a popular spot on the weekends, but if you don't get one of the tables, there are many large shade trees to sit under when it's warm.

  • Find it at: Wilkinson Road, Para Hills The City of Salisbury has spruced up the (FULLY FENCED) play space at Prettejohn Gully Reserve in Para Hills, with new play equipment including a multi play unit, activity box, monkey bars, musical equipment, talking tubes, carousel, two-person springer, sandpit and swings. While the kids play under the recently constructed shade structure, you can relax under the new shelter which features a picnic setting. Wheelchair access to the colourful play space is available from the Para Hills Community Hub carpark. There's some public toilets inside the Para Hills Community Hub right next door and also outside the Hub (along the brick wall you can see in the first photo). This one looks fantastic and such a great facility for the Para Hills community. The Woolworths is really close too if you need supplies for that last minute picnic or if you just want snacks because everyone loves playground snacks right?
